 - Why do we need tours?

Trust is essential for any relationship, but it's definitely more important in a long distance relationship because of the separation. The distance limits the number of opportunities to see each other face to face, so you may be concerned about your partner finding that kind of companionship with somebody else. However, there are ways that may help you prove to your partner and vice versa that you are trustworthy.

For instance, responding to emails and messages promptly show your partner that you are thinking about him or her. It also shows that you're reliable despite the distance between the two of you. If you have to leave for a business trip, you should tell your partner ahead of time. By telling your partner, you may eliminate some of the doubts about your honesty that would have happened if you left without telling your partner. Keep phone dates or online dates to show your partner that he or she is still one of your top priorities.

As for America:

You will need to sign legal forms for the INS. You will need to provide other documents such as birth certificates and divorce decrees. If children are involved, you will need documents for them also.
It's advisable to consult an American attorney, who is reasonable. It's also advisable to do exactly what an attorney tells you because one little mistake can cause you from six months to one year delay for your lady to obtain her interview.

As for Israel:

In Israel the preparation of the documents for marriage differs from the same process in USA, for example. First of all, you will have to register your marriage in the native country of your fiancee. The good thing about it is that your lady will be able to arrive to the country in 2 months after wedding, even less,  as the process is faster than for America.  You will also need to sign the legal forms for the INS, and to provide other documents such as birth certificates and divorce decrees. All the documents of your wife must be translated and legalized. When your application is approved, your wife is called to the embassy for a visa. Normally, an application is considered during a month. Usually a visa is given for a month. On arrival to Israel your wife's visa can be extended.

No! You should always feel free to ask her any questions.

For example:
1. Will she like the city you live in and your home that you live in?
2. What about future children?
3. Does your financial and job situation make her comfortable?
4. Does she want to work? Of course, she must learn English first.
5. Does she want to meet your family members?
6. Does she have proper documents for INS?

Summarily speaking, many questions will come to your mind and you should never hesitate to ask her any questions, and she, also, will want to ask you similar questions.

 Language difference:

- Do Russians know English or other foreign languages?

Russians do not need any other foreign languages in their everyday life, although everyone learnt at least one foreign language at school. But Russians are teachable and they can learn language very quickly. One third of the girls speak quite well, one-third speak poorly but well enough not to rely on an interpreter and one third do not speak but all can read well. In the girl's profile the knowledge of English is rated from 1 to 5. Level 2 indicates that the girl can read and write. Level 3 indicates that girl speaks poorly but well enough to communicate without an interpreter. Level 4 indicates that girl speaks rather well

Yes, of course, when people who speak a different language, first meet, they are concerned about speaking to each other. Some time will pass from the moment your lady agrees to marry you until the day she arrives in your country. Ladies usually begin learning English during this period and most of the women are very smart.

Saving money:

-   How can I save money while visiting my lady?

Your lady and your interpreter can show you how to use the bus and taxi, which are both very inexpensive. Your lady and your interpreter can show you which restaurants are reasonable. You can buy flowers on the streets and they are very reasonable. Drinks of all kinds are very inexpensive at supermarkets and restaurants. Dental and medical needs are much less expensive in Ukraine/ Russia compared to the USA.

Future family:

- What about future children and family?

You should discuss this subject before marriage to prevent any misunderstanding that may lead to unhappiness or separation.  And you should discuss also about your future family with a lady. How she sees her future in a foreign country, will she work or stay at home? What she is expecting for from you as her future husband.

Culture and customs:

- What about cultural customs and difference?

You are in a totally different country, that has a different economy, and several different customs that may offend your lady. For example:
1. When walking along the street, if she is serious about you, she will want to place her arm inside yours, and people will know that she cares for you.
2. It's nice to give one to three flowers to your lady when first meeting, until she tells you not so often.
3. It's good to pay attention to her in small ways, like helping to take off her coat.
4. Always open the door for her when she is getting into a car or taxi, as well as helping her to get out of a car or taxi.
5. Kissing or touching in public until you are engaged, or committed to marriage. She will help you with this subject, when she is ready. Don't think about her this way on the first or second date.

The ability to adaptation does not depend on nationality, but on the peculiarities of the character. There are women for whom any even insignificant changes in their life become serious stress. But they as a rule can't make up finally their mind to leave Ukraine/ Russia, each time finding for this different excuses. For those, who does make up their mind, adaptation is just a question of time. Of course, there are different things that help a woman to adapt to live quicker- make her not stay at home but do something outside, go to different courses (driving, language, some profession), invite friends home, go from time to time together to dine.

After 70 years of atheism it would be difficult to call Ukraine/Russia  religious countries, actually, all ex Soviet Union. At first, all manifestations of believing in God were prosecuted, then, during the time of Perestroyka, most of population went from one extreme to another. A wide number of sects and congregations appeared- from pagans to Mormons. Now Ukrainian/Russian people are tried to impose Russian Orthodox religion but not too successfully. But ignorance of religious rituals does not mean that they do not believe in God. Many Ukrainian/Russian women believe in God, and time is changing, today many people start to open their hearts for God

Parent’s approval:

-    Do I need the approval of her parents to marry her?

No, but you should surely want to meet her parents and have their blessings.

Yes! You can present a lady with sweets, perfumes, or small toys. As for the girl's family, you may give them a book of pictures of your town; Men bring home and family photos, books of pictures of their native town or State and favorite CD's (make sure the family has a CD player at home!).
When you go to visit your lady's family it would be very nice of you to get flowers for the mother, a bottle of wine for the father, as well as a cake or a box of chocolate for them. These items aren't expensive but they are very meaningful.

After deciding to develop a close relationship, you should meet her children immediately. In the beginning you can discover any difficulties that may prevent marriage.
It's important to find out if you can become friends with her children, as you surely want to love her children and know that they feel good about you. Remember! You are marrying them as well as her.

Foreign husband:

- Why are Russian women looking for a husband abroad?

Surely, that in Ukraine/ Russia like in other countries there are women who are trying to "sell themselves as expensive as possible". But they do not form the main contingent of the clients of international marriage agencies. In spite of low level of life in Russia, there are rich people not less than in the West. And it is they who are the main "object of chase" for this women. The most part of women who are looking for a husband abroad, want normal, stable and reliable family relationship, relationship that many Ukrainian/Russian men do not want. Of course, there are certain material criteria. A woman is ready to move to another country and understand that she will need some time for adaptation, and during this time she will have to depend completely on her husband. But this criteria in most cases are not as high as men think.

It is difficult to answer this question unambiguously. AS a rule, a man in a Russian family is older than women for 2-8 years. There are women who prefer men of the same age. There are more common goals and interests with such man. Women-leaders prefer men younger than they as it is easy to be the head in such family. But there are those women who are looking for a man much older than they. These women want to see near them not only a man who can provide for a good financial level, who has achieved something in this life, but also a wise 'father' support and leadership.

Working woman:

-Do most Russian women work?

Yes, they are. The thing is not in only financial necessity and the wish to have financial independence, but also in the necessity to see fulfilled their potential abilities. Russian women as the women in developed Western countries want to have education and find the work that they will like. Some of them have their own business and profit that is equal to men's. All the same, almost any Russian woman dreams that her work to be a way not to earn for life but an interesting and amusing hobby.
